I was taken back by all the support from family and friends that showed up to lend a hand. We were packing up to leave, because we weren’t anticipating an award our first year participating, when they called out our name. I couldn’t have been more surprised and just after they announced our 2nd place finish, they called us up for 1st place. I can’t describe the excitement and exhaustion mixed together after 7 hours in 100 degree heat.
